Calpromag®

Calpromag Calpromag should be used when milk fever complicated with grass staggers is suspected. Calpromag raises blood calcium and magnesium levels for the treatment of milk fever complicated with grass staggers. Also contains Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) as a metabolic stimulant.

Active Constituents:

Calcium borogluconate 250g/L, magnesium chloride hexahydrate 80g/L and cyanocobalamin 0.02g/L in a pink solution for injection. Available as 500mL flexi bags inside a plastic printed pouch. 12 x 500mL bags in a printer outer box.

Indication:
Treatment of milk fever and milk fever complicated by grass staggers, and as an aid in restoring normal appetite and blood glucose levels in cattle deficient in cobalt.

Dosage:
Inject 500mL by the SLOW i/v route. Alternatively, 500mL may be injected by the s/c route into the anterior half of the neck or over the ribs. Massage to facilitate absorption. Repeat, if necessary, after 4–6 hours. If complete recovery does not occur, seek veterinary advice.
