Active Constituents:
2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol 2g/L, dichlorobenzyl alcohol 0.5g/L, biosulphur fluid 10g/L and Sedaplant Richter 10g/L. A viscous, green, pearlised liquid with a characteristic floral bouquet. Available in 250mL bottles.

Action:
2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol is a powerful antibacterial (both Gram-ve and Gram+ve), anti-yeast and antifungal agent. Dichlorobenzyl alcohol has bacteriostatic, fungistatic and bactericidal activity. These antibacterial and antifungal agents inhibit skin infections and body odour. Biosulphur fluid has keratoplastic, keratolytic and vasoconstrictive actions. It is recommended for local treatment of skin and hair disorders arising from hyperfunction of the sebaceous glands. Sedaplant Richter is a polyvalent herbal extract plus anti-irritant employed as a balsam for sensitive and irritated skin; it contains extracts from the herbs fennel, hops, chamomile, balm-mint, mistletoe and yarrow, which are soothing to the skin and mildly antiseptic. Their activity is supplemented by the addition of specific inflammation-inhibiting substances (urea and a urea derivative).

Indication:

Aids in treatment and control of skin conditions caused by bacterial and fungal infections and also non-specific dermatoses in dogs. Also for the cleansing of skin and hair.

Dosage:

For topical use only. Shake thoroughly before use. Wet the animal's skin and coat with warm water and apply product directly to the hair. Work into a rich lather by massaging well into the skin, especially in affected areas. Rinse off completely. Recommended treatment frequency 14–21 day intervals or as directed by your veterinarian. Avoid contact with the eyes.

NOTE: Patch testing is recommended before use on animals with very inflamed or sensitive skin. Apply the shampoo to a small area of hairless skin on the ventral abdomen, leave for 5–10 minutes then rinse and dry. Inspect regularly during the next 24 hours for signs of irritant or allergic dermatitis. If an adverse reaction occurs, avoid further use of shampoo.
