Dextrose 40%™
Dextrose 40% raises the blood carbohydrate levels and glycogen content in the liver, so is an ideal treatment for ketosis/acetonaemia. Dextrose 40% should be used when ketosis /acetonaemia is suspected in cattle.

Dextrose 400g/L in a clear solution for injection. Available as 500mL ready-to-use flexi bags inside a plastic printed pouch. 12 x 500mL bags in a printed outer box.
Indication:
Treatment of ketosis in cattle.
Dosage:
Inject up to 500mL by i/v injection. If complete recovery does not occur, seek veterinary advice.

MILK and MEAT: Nil.
